If you have sleep apnea and need treatment DON'T go to California Sleep Solutions. They have been running me in circles since June, cancelling my appointments because of COVID, then telling me I can get an APAP machine instead of going in for titration, then making me jump through ridiculous hoops to get a machine, then claiming to never get my doctor's faxes with the info they need. RecommendedSherri Hanson is a very experienced teacher who has been in the field of sleep medicine from last 10 years! She is detail oriented and extremely knowledgeable! Great experience! Northern California School of Sleep medicine is highly recommended by me, if you want to get hands on training and extensive knowledge towards becoming a sleep technologist!
Recommendeda great hands on learning experience with an extensive amount of knowledge to prepare workers for the field they will be entering as a sleep technician.
Do not go to this location. Had a referral here from the VA and absolutely the worst experience of my life! I explained to the technician working that I have had apnea for the past 15 years and could not sleep without my cpap machine. They told me for the first two hours I would have to try. Then 5 hours later of tossing and turning, I was ready to leave. The technician then says, “oh we were just about to come in. You can use a machine now.” They lied about to everything there. California school of sleep medicine is a fun and fulfilling course. The instructor is patient and well educated. The facility is new and very comfortable. I enjoyed all of my classmates. Everyone I encountered was very professional. I can't wait to further my education with this program. I highly recommend this course if you want to start your education in sleep medicine.
Get qualified people employed there that know how to fit a mask.
Great experience! I was uncomfortable at the beginning but the tech was explaining the process and answer all my questions.
