CA Mental Health has an amazing staff and provides wonderful support. From the very beginning, they make you feel like family and create a warm welcoming environment. They are honest about what to expect, show genuine empathy and truly care about the people they serve. As a parent, I especially appreciate that they follow up on a weekly basis and keep me informed. My original review was pleasant as I was manic when I wrote it, but after time and time again of being reminded of my stay here, I decided to change it to reflect the truth. it's been many months later, and every time I think of this place, I get angry and unwell. I left manic and not in good condition. During my stay, I had my roommate whisper into my ear while I was sleeping, and this was not taken seriously at all. Wonderful staff, very comfortable house and great meals. EMDR therapy here was excellent, and groups were very helpful. They are sensitive to lgbtqi+ issues and I felt welcome from the day I arrived.

Most of the staff was very kind and aware of our emotions, Josette was an amazing case manager she was very interactive and intensive. If you do go here there is a cat named snowball and you have to take care of her, she was a big impact on my treatment, she would come at times demand food and pets and me missing my animals at home was great for me to have her here! When i entered i was very strung out, leaving I did a complete 180 thanks to the staff who were very helpful. I will remember my time here for the rest of my days lol.
