Don’t see much of a future for this place unless a lot of things change. The hiring manager Gilbert is known to lie a lot, especially during the interview. He tells people a number of things but he rarely delivers on his part, even if you continue to bring it up to him. This shop isn’t ran like a team, there’s a lot of miscommunication that makes a job more difficult than it has to be. I've been the accountant for California Machine Specialties since August 2008 on a part-time basis. I know the owner of the company is a very nice person and always strives to treat his employees fairly. He appreciates the employees very much and has an open-door policy if anyone has a concern. Several employees have worked here for decades. It is a pleasant place to work and continues to grow.
