Worst experience I have ever had with a rental company. After the landlord refused to fix some water damage (caused by structural damaged, not caused by me) I had to get the city health inspectors in here to look at my unit, and they told me it was actually illegal. Then the landlord kept my entire deposit and tried to charge me for the month I didn't stay, since I moved out when the building inspectors told me it was unsafe.
Absolutely, hands-down the worst company to rent through. My first experience with them was discouraging. I went into the office during business hours to grab an application, waited in the lobby for 20 minutes but had to leave before anyone paid me any mind. My boyfriend called the next day to make sure Lou would be in the office around 2:00 PM so he could pick up an application. When he got there, the doors were locked!
