Beware California HomePro – Where do I start. First these guys wanted way too much money up front. According to the Calif. Contractors State License Board, Contractors can only charge 10% or $1,000 for a down payment. These guys wanted over 10K!! The contract is supposed to be set up in progress payments, but before work even started they wanted thousands more. They didn't start the job on time. Then they used subcontractors, but didn't supervise them. So they made lots of mistakes that I had to insist that they do over. The... read more
