this place rules la mesa im a guy here girl (forgot her name but she ruled) gave me a good long on top and shorter in the sides and back great job smart pretty beautician supervised with a teacher (who was really cute) with a hairstyle like what i wanted so it was totally awesome. other places i go to the people dont know english. if u are gonna do what i want i need to communicate to you and you have to understand ok honney, and i know that at other places they talk crap in other languages at you lol so this place rules.
what a joke I attended this school, the one in chula vista, ca. The staff is very unprofessional and the students while many talentless, acted like they were just there to get away from home. I would not refer anyone to attend this school for training or otherwise. I was very upset about the lack of accountability and unprofessionalism from both staff and students.
La Mesa location All I can say is HORRIBLE!!! I walked in at 3 for a mani/pedi, and the man working there said come back at 5:00 because we don't start mani/pedi's until then...? So he wrote my name down for an appt. I only live about 4 minutes away, so it wasn't a problem. I came back at 5, and was expecting someone to be there waiting for me for my appt. I was a few minutes early and the woman at the front desk told me to take a seat, she said they would be here in a few minutes. So i sat down, and....they had no magazines... read more
Cruel Intentions~ I'm shocked on how the teachers treat some of their students and get away with it. I'm shocked how they treat some of the clients who come in as well, literally being rude to them and making them leave. My friend always comes home in tears they demoralize her so much about her age,..so unnecessary. They need to send undercover clients in there and undercover students....how they aren't undergoing a lawsuit is beyond me. These students deserve the right to be treated equally.
Chula Vista location; Mrs. Q lacks customer services & professionalism Eventhough I live in Chula VIsta I try to go the the one in La Mesa because the instructor, Mrs. Q. is not only not professional, but she is very uptight. Her students have made comments regarding her constant negative comments. Mrs. has made my experience be such a negative one that I avoid going to this location. LOVED IT! I went to them to get my hair done for my winter formal dance and they did an awesome job! they are extremely cheap! i got my hair done for only $25 dollars. im really picky about my hair but i loved them. they're friendly and they listen to what you want. im going there again form my prom. i recommend them to anyone and everyone!
Great Experience It was great! A wonderful price and the girls that did my hair were awesome! They were nice and wanted to do a great job,which they did. It looked very professional and everyone loved my hair after it was done. I am willing to go back and am even buying my mom a trip there!
Good deal, allow extra time This a great place to go on a budget. I've had my hair done there several times and only slightly negative thing is it usually takes much longer than a normal salon... however, that's because you have experts stepping in to help the students do the best job, which I think makes it worthwhile.
ALTHOUGH THIS IS A TRAINING SCHOOL ITS A GREAT PLACEFOR HAIR CUT,NAISL ANDMORE TRAING SCHOOL WITH TOP CLASS PEOPLE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE HERE,ALL ARE PROFESSIONAL AND NICE ,I HAVE HAD SEVERAL HAIR CUTS, A DYE AD PEDICURES AND NAILS DO MY TEEN LOVE THIS PLACE BEACUSE THE STYLIST ARE CLOSE TO THEIR AGE AND UNDERSTAND CURRENT STYLE.
