Same story you read from everyone else, Do not do business with these people. Ordered an engine that was suppose to be in stock. Three weeks later no engine, I started to do research and found all the negative reviews so I went into action to get my money back. Called several times with no luck, emailed several times no luck. However they were nice enough to email me with a fake tracking number and an excuse why the engine took so long and its on its way. Bad business practices. Cal Engine doesn't know a thing about engines or customer service. They will only answer emails and phone calls when you place an order and they get your money but after they get it consider your money gone. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Total jerks! Check around and find another company to do business with.
I have tried and tried to get them to call me or email me but they won't answer the phone. They have no customer service at all! I am so frustrated because they took my money and I am left with nothing. I have talked with 7 other people and they all have some issue going on with this company right now, stolen cores, bad engines, etc. perhaps we can all get together and take them to court. How does a company like this stay in business?
Engine does not run, telling me the engine core is bad. That is a LIE, engine was checked by mechanic before sending California Engine Exchange the core. Wish I would have seen these reviews before purchase. BEWARE!!!!
I am owed money for a core deposit. California Engine won't answer the phone or emails. They stole my core.
If there was no star that is what I would rate this business. The Better Business Bureau rates them an F, please call them and verify this information 530-274-5636. When I called they didn't even have to look them up they just said "I hope you didn't do business with them." They go by another name US Precision Machine, they probably changed their name after numerous complaints.
