This is the absolute worst website and staff I’ve ever come into contact with which is never. They never answer there phones and they honestly don’t care about the public. The website to get your license is so glitchy I’ve had to made several accounts just to get my license which has got me no where it’s been months since I passed my phlebotomy exam and I’ve still not been able to receive my license. Worst place to ever exist. I recommend calling your school to help you. Because you will get nowhere with these ppl.
I’ve been working at the California Department of Public Health since about 2018 and the staff is very hard-working. Under intense scrutiny because of the pandemic, budget shortages, and a variety of political factors at play it’s no perfect organization. In my experience, their public health prevention programs that include things like nutrition, education, overdose prevention, education, tobacco prevention, and promotion of physical activity has influenced me incredibly positively in my life. They are very hard to get in touch with . Leave a message and never get contacted back . Always long wait time periods . No information given nor sent to you to let you the status of your order.
My application was abandoned after I kept repeatedly resubmitting the evidence and supporting documents they asked me for. It’s one thing to say “hey, your documents are just not meeting our criteria” and then a whole another thing to tell me that they “aren’t seeing the documents on my online application” even though I submitted them multiple times and kept trying to confirm that they received them over the email (as it’s impossible to reach them on the phone).
