After getting several bids, we talked to Kobi at California Deck Builders and it was clear he understood the Trex product we wanted to use and how to use it to replace our tired wooden deck. His crew, Eddie and Q, were prompt, professional and just very nice people who worked hard under harsh circumstances - some of the hottest weather we've ever seen. Kobi came by regularly to make sure we were happy. The new deck looks great and is exactly what we wanted at what we considered to be a fair price.

We met with three different companies for our backyard deck and are so happy we chose California Deck Builders. Kobi and his team did beautiful work, on time and on budget. They helped us design an Ipe deck that we absolutely love, and their work was so good that we also had them build a fence for our side yard and run gas and electric for exterior power and a fire pit on the deck - all within the original timeframe. I talked to a number of well-reviewed deck and fence builders before engaging Kobi and Edgar. The difference with CDB was that in initial conversations, they had a much stronger handle on the design process and attention to detail I was looking for.
