One of worse bank I ever deal with in my whole life
They advertise auto loan refinance rates that are completely unrealistic. We worked with Christina, who told us we could apply for a rate below 6%. My partner applied first with an excellent 803 credit score and was denied the lower rates. They then suggested adding a co-applicant, so I applied with a 760 score and a solid history of two auto loans in excellent standing. Got denied a 2k$ loan with 750 credit score and no credit card debt. I showed 3 paystubs and my rental agreement . *Update after going there in-person; I offered to put $1,000 down on a secured line of credit, and they still said no! Love that energy! Meanwhile, I hear folks with sub-600 credit scores are getting approved for Scat Packs Make sure to lower your expectations when coming here.
I came in to deposit a check. I have a bank account with CCU with my job as a teacher. I was told by the teller that he couldn't deposit my check because of the type of "account" I had. It's a checking account. He told me I needed to make a "real account" with a bank rep and told me they were all busy. Gave me no one's card or offered a number to call or advised a time to come in. Typically I don't register discrimination until months later and this felt like "we don't want your business".
