I am so glad that I opened a checking and savings accounts with California Credit Union. From the first day when I opened the door of Santa Ana CCU branch I was treated like a VIP customer. Have been paying off my auto loan which was given to me in full by CCU. I received a very low interest rate (more so than any dealership would offer). I have had zero problems and a great experience.
I've had a profoundly negative experience with this bank. While opening the account and transferring money in was straightforward, accessing my own funds has been a struggle. The bank's tendency to place unnecessary holds on transactions is frustrating, and their 'extra security measures' feel like deliberate obstruction. Their customer service has been unhelpful, and I'm concerned about the legitimacy of some of their practices. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone.
