While I gained a life long skill to do my craft I also brought with me self esteem scars from the scathing reviews of faculty and classmates who basically were pegged against each other. You were only as good of a person as your work at this school and people did not value you if you failed at something. Also I found that my ability to gain praise or find work after had more to do with how I looked and dressed than my actual portfolio.
