My closet installation project for my friend who has just moved into assisted living started with calling California closet in Tyson’s Corner. Communication skills are horrible! We had a desk put in and years later still don't have the correct pieces that were promised to be sent. We have a current job for them to remove their system due to a construction project. They promised to be out but didn't show. Can't reach anyone. It's been a horrible experience. Never using them again.
We used California Closets to build out the his and hers closets in the master suite of our home. The design process was efficient. Jacalyn was easy to work with and tailored the spaces for our exact needs. For the hers closet, I wanted an island, vanity with a mirror, and storage bench by the window, and she was able to incorporate these requests into the design. The materials used are beautiful and pricing was reasonable. We are thrilled with the end result!
Stay away!! Their promise of life time warranty is FAKE!!! We’ve been trying to contact them for a month and they just never care!!!! UPDATE!!! THEY FINALLY CONTACTED US AND FIXED IT
California Closets updated two of our spaces - a coat closet and a step-in kids closet. Esther spent time getting to know us and our needs, as well as our design aesthetic, and developed multiple great options that fit within our budget. She was patient, creative, and responsive to our needs. The install was timely and professional. There was a slight issue with the sizing; California Closets send someone back quickly to address it. We are very pleased with our purchase and hope to work with Esther again in the future!
