We love this lil town. Have yearly passes which we've renewed several times. It's full of history and a wonderful place just to stroll and have a quiet lunch. Plus it's very dog friendly. Halloween haunts is not to be missed either.

Fun place for everyone! Adults and kids will find something to do. Lots of educational information, good food, and nostalgia. Gold panning was a good time with kids and Grandma. Camping was very fun with Restaurant on premises. My visit was fun and I will go again.
I was a chaperone on a field trip with my two boys + another with = boys. However, it was ridiculously WINDY and the scavenger work from their school was filing everywhere, it was crazy. Anyway, as a chaperone mother, I paid my $13 and unfortunately, one of the boys friends blew them out of a kids pocket and we only had three. Yet, myself, and the third boys mother PAID for the other tickets. I hadn't been before and my boyfriend went about 40 years ago but he didn't remember it being so awesome! The staff was friendly and we felt free to walk around and explore at our leisure taking pictures galore. The saloon was relaxing and our food was good but we really liked taking the old time photo. We spent 5 hours there and finished at the cemetery. We will be back and have shared our experiences with our friends and family.
