Best ghost town in southern California great 4 wheeling
You need the whole day to be able to enjoy the entirety of this place. We got here at 11 am and didn’t leave until 4 pm.
It’s a beautiful place with lots of history ⛺️
I love camping here- there’s lots to enjoy in the town for a day or two between the train ride/maggies mine/mystery shack and panning for gold. Lots of great photo ops, places to explore food and unique merchandise. Besides the atmosphere of the town, and the beautiful red rock landscape-there are great off-roading trails and you can go shooting as well
