I agree with Adam Thomas in his review. Our mortgage handling was transferred to Newrez from another company. We made a mortgage payment to the previous company before we got notification that the mortgage was transferred. The previous servicer transferred all the information to Newrez. Newrez is claiming we didn't make that payment, and is sending delinquency notices to me. Incompetent firm, all the paperwork and calculations are wrong. Not only do they misspell names on each occasion, my wive’s score has dropped extremely low because they’re not reporting her payments. She’s been paying one amount, statement reflect another one, and all of them missing. Garbage company, gonna join the class action. This mess is ridiculous and has to end. On top of that, no chance to reach a rep. They either ignore you all together or are dismissive and rude
Beware of this company. Our home loan was reassigned by Mr. Cooper to this company. Everything we have tried to accomplish with them have bern months long ordeals. From changing our homeowners insurance, to getting an equity loan for home repairs and updates. They will put you through hell. We were told 3 weeks ago our loan was approved. Then it was “just one more thing” and again and again. Avoid them! Illegally sell customer data and make it impossible to reach them to resolve issues
I’m a 100% disabled veteran here in TX exempt from paying property taxes. I provided all information from my county many months ago and they have yet to stop collecting property taxes from me every month. Every time I call I’m advised they are still auditing. I could have gotten a whole new mortgage in a fraction of the time for them to finish an audit. I’m waiting for a 2024 refund, and for them to stop collecting 2025, lower my payment, and refund me for the property taxes they have been collecting. I do not recommend this... read more
