terrible mangement
I would delete my review of four weeks ago if this functionality was available through BirdsEye, but this does not appear to be the case. So, I will add now that after two conversations with manager "Drew" at the Kimbark location, I feel as though Caliber has done what it can to make right what had been a previously "horrible experience." I am writing on behalf of myself and my mother, a formal complaint against Caliber Collision located at 15833 Bear Valley Road, Hesperia, CA 92345 (Phone: 760-947-8158). Our concerns are: The shop initially quoted an 8-day repair time for extensive front-end damage. However, it has now been 75 days, and our vehicle is still not repaired. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. More than three months wasted and $$ being held hostage. To make a very long story short: first spoke w/ B face-to-face on July 25, 2024. Made plans to get hail damage repairs made in two phases at two separate times. Appt made w/ employee L. Communications w/ B twice the week before repair date to confirm. Caliber/B accepted a Cashier's Check so car hood could be pre-ordered & my car would not need to be in the shop for more than one workweek, 5 days. Took SUV to Calibre in Conyers for repair estimate under an ins claim 9/5. I pointed out minor damages & no dents just trim issues. I ask if SUV would be returned in same condition if repairs were not completed & Brianna said yes. Picked up SUV 9/19 & Calibre severly damaged trim around rear plate, rear latch screws, bolt on back window wiper missing, removed & trashed trailblazer emblem & liftgate upper molding trim screws missing, damaged rear side trim & pulled all of my weather stripping off & trashed. If I could leave a ZERO STAR REVIEW, I would. I was in an accident (with my only vehicle) and my car was taken to Caliber Collision on 34th St. The front desk team was very kind and understanding and helpful, they even gave us the card for direct contact to the General Manager, Tony on that first interaction. We did a walkthrough of the car with one of the maintenance team and examined the car - with no mentions of any repair concerns from them. Sadly, it all went EXTERMELY down hill from there.
