In the 30 years that we have operated and grown, we have attempted to pour our passion for great food, atmosphere and hospitality into every dining occasion in our restaurants. We are proud to be the Taste of Tennessee. Please Join us every Wednesday and Friday for a lunch buffet from 11am-2pm. We will open for our regular menu at 4pm. Sunday Brunch is from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Please enjoy our drink specials starting at 10:30am!

When we arrived, we were told our wait would be 45 minutes to an hour, and bar seating was full. While we waited, we saw several groups going in and being seated, while the "wait time" was being told as up to two hours. After 45 minutes, my wife walked back and found an empty table, not at the bar, and were seated immediately by a waitress. The baby back ribs and baked potato I ordered were dried out. All around, could have been better.
Very nice atmosphere. Great food. Good service. Really cool view of the water.
We have visited Calhouns on the river about 4 times in the past 6 weeks,3 out the 4 have been bad experiences. Today we were told there would be a 15 minute wait, 30 minutes went by and they tried to seat us outside,we asked for inside, they did accommodate us in an area that was almost totally empty of patrons. Apparently they were short staffed today. Mine and my wife's food was very undercooked. It will be a while before I will give them another chance.
We thought it was great. We sat outside, at the beach restaurant, lots of boat traffic to watch, a band played at one end of the venue, and the servers were attentive. What's not to like. It really was a lot of fun. If you like to have an adult beverage, a little food, watch people, watch boats and listen to a band playing Beatles, Petty, and a little of other stuff of that time period, that night was the night to be there.

First visit. Good food, passable service. Will try again.
