I had CalHomeCo build a 759sqft ADU in my back yard. By far the easiest part was the actual build that CalHomeCo did, just taking care of it all through build. Progress, pricing, status was all transparent through the online portal that they use which is super useful. Complete opposite to the SD permitting process being glacial.
Steve Poole and the CalHome team just finished up our 13-month 2nd story add-on and brought our dream home into reality. Throughout the project, Steve was communicative, thorough, and ensured that things were done right. Highly recommend CalHomeCo. I did a very complex 1,000sq/ft two story addition at my house in Mission Hills. This was a full gut job plus a large addition- they essentially built me a new house. Steve Poole was the project manager and he was amazing. We set a very aggressive timeline and the CalHomeCo team finished on schedule- anyone who has ever done a project knows how rare that is. Brian and the team were very fair and competitive on pricing. Overall a great experience.
The team built a 2 bedroom, bath and wet bar room addition for me and they were courteous and professional. Working with Sean Reynolds as my PM was great. He was very responsive and helpful. I love their on-line portal that they use for tracking the project E2E. I highly recommend them!
