We attended Calgary Vision Therapy as my 7 year old son was diagnosed with Amblyopia by our optometrist. We decided to take an active approach and committed to a 6 month VT program. Our vision therapist, Cathy, was incredible! We cannot say enough about her! She is knowledgeable and patient and excellent at what she does. My son loved going to VT and we appreciated the family type atmosphere. He developed a friendship with Cathy and after much hard work and dedication he has graduated and no longer has Amblyopia! Vision Therapy was the most life-changing program I have ever experienced! Previously, I have always had difficulty compared to other kids my age with keeping track of lines while reading, but thanks to VT, they were able to pinpoint the exact deficiencies I had in my visual system and specifically target them in my weekly sessions.
