counselor discriminates against low income foreigners, and marginalizes vulnerable persons of confidentially disclosed disability. The counseling is rote formulaic, disingenuous, lacking authenticity and humanizing empathy. Concerns are treated dismissively, and clients are treated as expendable. Their biased unwritten policy conveniently enables discrimination without accountability. These are factual observations, of counselor behaviors unbecoming of a professional.
The absurd part is having them question you line by line on why you didn't give them top marks. Seriously, why am I comforting the counselor and protecting their rating when I'm the one seeking help?

I have had a range of experiences with Calgary Counseling over the years, my most recent experience with these service providers has left me alone without help (told me to find a family doctor to be serviced) and I'm at a loss for where to go to find this in time. If you are looking for empathetic and kind, long-term care and support this is not a place to go to unfortunately.
