I was taken by ambulance. Short and sweet, the doctor asked me a few questions, did a chest x-ray, and tested for covid and flu. Said I had the flu and wrote prescriptions. Now I was so sick I could not raise up. My discharge papers had flat-out lies on them. I had no one at home to help me, which is why it took 4 days of fever hazes for me to realize I needed 911. I was pleasantly surprised to find my 6 day stay at Caldwell Memorial to be nothing less than excellent. I had a 2 week stay in 1972, 3 day stay in 1993, so trust me, I know exactly the level they have ascended to in quality of care. Every single person I encountered handled my concerns with complete professionalism.
