State Farm offers discount for different things, as all insurance companies do. My complaint is transparency. State Farm gives you a gross cost on the documents sent to you are renewal. Then they go down and list each item of discount by name. They don’t however tell you what each individual item, price wise, is. Then at the bottom, your net 6 month premium. This company is horrid! I have been a customer for 21 years..never missed a payment and even payed additional premium increases as they occurred. Over the 21 years of doing business I had to submit 2 claims over the last 3 years..each was paid out and I did get an increase to my premium which I expected. When my policy was to be renewed--they cancelled me because of my two claims! I was not only insulted but taken by surprise...my agent did not fight for me to stay with the company which forced me to bring my business elsewh... read more

Where to begin.. We purchased a house last year and got everything insured through State Farm. After a while they dropped our house coverage so we went to G****. State farm was to send out a ESCROW check so we could pay it back in but they sent it to the wrong address and it was cashed. After trying to get this rectified we were basically told not my problem. So now I'm stuck fitting the 1500$ bill alone.

Scammers, offering additional insurance as endorsements and when try to file a claim they come up with a bunch of obstacles. Stay away from this garbage.

My experience with State Farm has been horrible. I’ve not had an accident and work from home but each month my auto insurance has gone from $134, then next month $140, and now it’s July and it is $180. There was no disclosure about using some app to get a reduction and we should not be forced to use some product that tracts our movement. Some of us live on budgets that cannot support monthly increases and these increases are coming without notice other than the bill that says your insurance is due. Horrible establishment. I recently moved to Virginia and set up my coverage. My first monthly bill was low as expected. My second monthly bill was doubled. Somehow State Farm added an RV to my coverage. How could this happen as I never owned an RV in my life. I’m still waiting for the reimbursement check. The third monthly bill was still high, therefore I canceled my policy. I am not going to saleries for Jake and Chris ****.
