This is the worst management company Ive ever experienced in my life. I have rented many places have always made sure before move out everything is professionally repaired if needed and cleaned. I have never had a problem getting my security deposit back in full. Grey star on the other hand has taken my whole deposit of **** for nail holes where I hung my pictures and a few scuffs on the wall from where my couches were. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. They do not care about anything except stealing peoples money.

Whatever you do, do not ever rent an apartment that is managed by Greystar. We lived in an apartment complex in ******* ***** for three years. We only chose this apartment because of the convenience and location and what appeared to be good. They have a reputation of charging you after you move out or they have the reputation of not returning your security deposit. We moved out a month before our contract ended. I wish Boston East had the tendency to explain everything clearer to anyone who is interested in renting here, like explaining the exception for undergraduate students and providing the available guarantor third party options for undergraduates once they know the applicant is an undergraduate student and more. In addition, if anything comes up, Boston East should contact the applicant both through email and phone at the same time/day if one of the options does not work, since the office has both contact information on file. ... read more

Do yourself a favor and don’t move here, I wish I could give them negative stars. Where do I start....parking SUCKS, for this reason a few days after moving in, I decided to Get a garage with parking behind it for $125/month, they strictly enforce towing and parking rules, My friend had my car towed when I first moved in (his fault, didn’t have a sticker). But when you need help because someone has parked behind your garage and you can’t get out, they decide not to answer their phones (during office hours), they never answer... read more

After so many compaints On this company this company should be shut down letting there tenants live with mold mildew we can get sick I’m just waiting to file a lawsuit maybe they can open there eyes a bit more I’m gonna be filing some paperwork to the city this week unacceptable !

Be careful with this company. We rented all apt in ********* ******* When I left, they charged me for everything they needed to and closed my account in their portal. After some days they send me a CERTIFY LETTER threatening me for 14 dollars Yes 14, you read correctly. When I ****** them to pay the 14 dollars they forgot to tell me about, they never returned my calls.I sent them 5 e mails they never answer After some time this type of companies friends ( law firms ) contact you to request their collection fees which are lik... read more

Greystar has reversed the $14 charge as a customer service gesture which represented your final month of renters insurance at our student living community in *****. Your account is now closed. This file was held in house at was not turned over to a 3rd party collection agency nor an attorney.

My wife, and infant moved into this "202 Copper" during the worst parts of the pandemic, things for the most part were still closed. This leasing office for whatever reason was still open. They did however take advantage of the situation and wouldn't let us see the apartments except through a FaceTime call. However, folks that were caucasian were still getting live tours. Worse Business I’ve ever encountered. Horribly unprofessional! We have been trying to work with this place to get out of our daughter’s lease from Nov 2020 (for Aug 2021) . Wage never took possession or stepped foot in their facility due to personal, health issues and student status. They are now suing us for rent, insurance and a bunch of other charges she didn’t use.
