My daughter took the AP Art class with Mr. Chao at CalColor last year, and it was such a positive experience for her. She learned so much, felt supported every step of the way, and ended up getting a 5 on her AP Drawing! Mr. Chao not only gave her great guidance as a teacher, but he also kept me updated as a parent, which I really appreciated. We’re so thankful for his encouragement and care. I would definitely recommend CalColor to families looking for a place where kids can grow and thrive in their art.
My daughter loves CalColor Academy she improved a lot from her beginning.Her teacher Mrs Amber from room 9.FYI I apparently think all the teachers are very nice here!Really recommend this place improve on your art scales quickly and efficiently!
Mr. Chao is the greatest teacher ever. He’s the goat frfr no cap ong ong. Not only are his taste in shoes immaculate, but so is his teaching. He helped me through my first days of painting and was overall so good at communicating his critique and expertise. 10/10 teacher for real. If you get him, you should ask him about his popmart collection.
I am so grateful for Mr. Chao, my AP Art teacher. His slideshow examples were extremely helpful, and the themes he provided for our projects helped me think creatively and develop unique ideas for my portfolio. I ended up getting a 5, which was really exciting! Thanks to his support and guidance, I feel I’ve grown both in skill and in the way I think about art. Highly recommend for any student looking to deepen their artistic skills and creative thinking!
My son has taken AP Art led by Mr. Chao and achieved a score of 5, with which he is very pleased. While he enjoys drawing, he found fulfilling the specific requirements of AP Art to be challenging. With Mr. Chao’s expert guidance and support, my son was able to complete his portfolio and submit his artworks on time.
