My husband and I went to Calaveras Cantina for the first time yesterday for Tuesdays $2 tacos. We were not disappointed from the waitress she was so sweet and patiently explained every on the menu to us. I had a coconut mojito and my husband had a margarita and they were both outstanding. Now the food we had nachos and salsa first. The nachos were warm and the salsa was just right not to spicy. Then we had tacos beef shrimp and Mahi-mahi. They were outstanding. Atmosphere is phenomenal! Staff was wonderful. Food I wasn't impressed. Chips are great salsa not so great. Beef tacos were like chili sauce without beans on a tiny tortilla shell. Not impressed with taco's. family wasn't impressed either.
Street corns ,guacamole,Rice and refríed beans .. delicious !! ��
Had a great Happy Hour/Dinner. Franky was a great bartender. Can't wait to come back!!! ��
Absolutely love this place! Taco Tuesdays are so much fun for girls night!
