This was an ok experience. The service from the guy at the bar was awesome, but the food failed to deliver. I have the carnitas and chicken tacos. The carnitas was old, like it was cooked 2 days ago. I understand that carnitas takes a while to cook, and you may use it the next day to prevent food waste, but this carnitas was atleast 2 days from its original cook date. I'm glad to see the closing of Calavera. A restaurant who's history is built on the stolen recipes, fired the employees who reported wage theft. Typical gentrification garbage that won't be missed
The food was great portion a little small for the price of things. I had the quesadillas, delish!
Fantastic food. Probably best food in Bay area. Must go there. Surprisingly good twist on food. Loved it
