I have a sweet, 3.5 month old baby, and for 3.5 exhausting months, I have been running in circles and chasing appointment after appointment DESPERATELY trying to find answers for his issues. Kristin was incredibly helpful with figuring out my baby’s latch issues and providing pumping and bottle feeding education for when I return to work! I would recommend her to anyone who is pregnant or has a baby. So thankful for her support!
I have used Kristin for three babies. With my firstborn, I was about 6 weeks in and my baby still was not gaining weight. Kristin not only helped my baby latch well, but she empowered me to keep going when things were tough, which allowed us to get to the sweet stage of breastfeeding. I have breastfed three babies past a year (which was my goal) with her help. And it’s a plus that she will come to your house and help in your own space!
I can’t recommend Kristen and Jean at Calani Lactation enough! They are incredibly attentive, compassionate, and full of helpful tips and tricks. From the moment they walked through the door, I felt heard and supported. The home visits were such a gift—so comforting to be in our own space while getting expert care. Kristen’s office is also located in a building that offers pelvic floor physical therapy, which made it easy and convenient to take care of both baby and myself postpartum. I used Calani Lactation Services a year ago, just days after having my daughter. She had a lip and tongue tie that made it almost impossible for her to nurse, and caused me immense pain. Kristin quickly came to our house after I reached out and got us an appointment to get her ties released two days later!
