Definitely call ahead and reserve seating, lovely atmosphere, nice fire going as you walk in, friendly staff, also like the kitchens open to see everything going on and all food passes by you for all tables so you get to see what's being given cooked and the smells are awesome. I do have one complaint just for the center area of dinning. Tables are far to close to one another. I was seated just 2 feet from a table of 4 people. So for today's traveling window review I stoped al Cal's in west Springfield where I decided to have the luncheon seafood special, which was mussels, calamari, and shrimp over linguine with a spicy marinara sauce. The portion was just right even though it was tough to finish you wish you had more, and the amount of seafood had a good ratio between the varieties and the flavor was there but fell short on the "spicy". Great food, and people!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great burger, steak, or seafood dinner. Drinks are great!

Excellent food and service!! Would have been a 5 but steak was ordered medium and came more rare than not (more of just a sear on the outside 😳). Still a great dining experience

We were a party of 10 on a busy Saturday night. The service and all our meals were excellent.
Five couples enjoyed each other's company at this rock'n restaurant; had a lot of laughs over cocktails and good food!
Food is great. Two negatives to our experience today...First they did not have our reservation in the system and second, they have one bathroom for the entire dining room (literally one toilet).
