Re-piping by Cal coast I had a re-plumb job completed by Cal Coast on 11/7/07, I got 2 bids, Ca Coast was higher but I thought I'd get a better job as their estimator seemed very good. I was told 2 days to comlete, it ended up to be 6 days of which the water off for 2 days. I then had a leak and although they out right away another one developed 3 days later in the garage, they forgot to join a fitting, if it had been inside I would have got flooded out. I Would Never Recommend Cal-Coast Repiping In 30 years of hiring contractors to perform work in commercial buildings, I can honestly say that Cal-Coast Repiping is the most unethical company I have dealt with. They would not fulfill their contractual duties on the one job I hired them to do. They would rather spend time in court than perform the work correctly. Don't Even Consider Using Cal Coast Repiping I too had a terrible experience with Cal-Coast Repiping. The workmanship is awful and the customer service is non-existent. I did some research and I believe I found how Cal-Coast operates. I found articles that show that they hire homeless people through the Salvation Army. They teach them how to solder copper and fix drywall and let them loose on your home. One foreman on each job directs them the best they can. As you can tell, no experience is necessary. BBB A+ rating I find it funny that there are so many complaints here but no one has posted a single complaint on the BBB since 1992 and the company has an A+ rating......hmmmmm
Unethical Company - Don't Ever Use Cal Coast Repiping Dealing with Cal Coast Re-piping was a nightmare for me. I thought their workmanship was shoddy, their employees were rude and they don?t do what they?ll say they?ll do. There is absolutely no pride in their work. Do yourself a favor and don?t hire Cal Coast Re-piping.
Cal-Coast Repiping The worst repipers ever! Incompetent, dishonest and mean These repipers are the worst. They pulverized my sprinkler system in 4 places while they were laying my water main... and even blamed me for it. They also layed the water main barely 10 inches below the ground which is not to code. It should be buried much deeper. Now I can't plant or dig in the area. Cal Coast Repiping Should Not Be Used My pipes bang whenever the dishwasher, the washing machine or sprinklers run. They have made several trips out, but refuse the fix the problem. The owner Chuck Vershaw tells me it?s normal. I should have known I?d have problems. From the beginning the plumbers were arguing with the Foreman. Also the Foreman told me that since the underground portion of the piping was not on his paper work, I would have to dig my own trench or else they wouldn?t connect my piping to the city supply.
