My daughter's Sweet 16 cake Nadine made was HORRIBLE Tasting! Word spread quickly "Don't Eat The Cake" I was left with 3/4 of the cake. I paid over $200 for an inedible cake. She refused to compensate, she actually hung up on me after admitting colored frosting doesn't have a good taste (never told us when ordering). I would NEVER use or recommend Cakes by Nadine!! #NadinesCakesAwful #CakesByNadineGross

I set up an appointment for 1/31/2015 at 3 pm. Now Nadine was still with some other appointment and I had no problem with that but what I did have a problem with was Lena at the front desk who was very rude. What Lena and Nadine didn't know was I was willing to pay any price to have a simple wedding cake but Lena messed that up. After my daughter started watching Cake Boss she wanted a special cake like that for her birthday. So 3 years ago I found this place and asked her to make a 3d tabby cat cake. I was stunned when we picked it up! It was beautiful and exactly how my daughter wanted it! She was even able to find a princess crown to put on top of the kitties head. :) The cake was so good it was the first time I never had cake left over. I contracted Nadine to make a cake for my wedding last month. It was a pretty simple wedding cake with not a lot of frills so this should have been easy for them. Despite our initial pleasant interaction with her, the rest of the process was a bit of a nightmare (Don't be fooled by Nadine's old lady charm... she is shrewd and deceptive when it comes to making a buck). My daughter and I were very pleased with Nadine. She took the time to chat with us and let us taste all her samples..not to mention this was over a holiday weekend. How many businesses would do that? I first tasted her cakes at Dillard's at a bridal fair and knew that when my daughter married, she would be my choice. The cake was absolutely fabulous and indescribably delicious. I have been using Cakes by Nadine for at least 6 years and am ALWAYS exceptionally pleased with both the taste and appearance of my cakes. Nadine is an artist (ALWAYS HAS A WONDERFUL IDEA FOR AN OCCASION WHEN I'M AT A LOSS !!) and does NOT EVER skimp on taste. This is not easy as I have very high expectations. In my opinion, all my cakes were "SIX STAR" !!!!!

I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!!!! The cake tasted horrible in fact we couldn't even eat it. It was not decorated the way it was supposed to be not even close!! Then when I tried to get a hold of her to report this it took two weeks and me threatening to report her to the better business. When she finally called me she was rude and argued with me. On top of all of this she was the most expensive quoted cake place. A sheet cake at Giant Eagle for $30 tastes better!!!

Cakes by Nadine does a wonderful job on cakes and the price is right. Best cake in the area in my opion. I will use Cakes by Nadine over and over again for my cake needs.
