Our wedding cake and cupcakes were delicious. However, we were promised an anniversary cake. We never received that cake. We didn't even receive a call from Cake Occasions. I've attempted to call their store to request one, only to be met with a busy tone every time. Unmet promises are not acceptable. Do not support this business' deceptive practice.
I have been trying to get a hold of someone to simply inquire about having them make my wedding cake. I am on week 4 of trying to get a hold of someone. I have called and left countless voicemails, e-mails, used the website's inquiry portal, and even texted the number on the website (it states texts were welcome). 1. Ordered cake for Oct 31, 2014. At no time did anybody ask which toping on the cake therefore ended up with the more expensive fondant. 2. When ordering the cake, at no point did anybody ask what icing we wanted between the layers therefore, ended up with none. 3. Cake was a SIMPLE 8" round, 4 layers. BUT had a 3/4" fondant that was not edible. 4. Cake invoice was $85!! 5. When trying to cut the cake it not only had the dowels in it but had cardboard between the layers. Horrible experience. Cake didn't having filling in it as ordered. No call from them to discuss it. Her reply " I was too busy to call." Way too much frosting, there was literally more frosting than cake. Asked to have cake super colorful and it was white with sprinkles. When talking to manage/owner I stated that she didn't really seem to care about my concerns she stated " I really don't care."
