Cake "unlady" The "cake lady" was paid extra to put fresh flowers on the cake and was paid extra to deliver the cake, the day of the wedding, she showed up with a MAJOR BAD ATTITUDE, stuck the flowers in the cake with no thought what so ever, then pealed out of the driveway when she left. We suggest you get you cakes for anywhere but here, she was bossy, controlling and very rude, we had no idea why she acted like a child. judy Tucker
THE CAKE LADY WAS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL First off, I was the one who told you to put the cake in the house. It was 80% humidity outside. So when I asked the old hag to put the cake inside so it wouldn't melt, she stormed out and was pissy the rest of the time she was there. iT IS MORE LIKE THE CUSTOMER WAS UN-LADY LIKE! As an observer, on how Ms. Tucker treated the Cake Lady today in the shop, clearly shows Ms. Tucker has issues. I can only say to her, it is because of people like you there are sheets of paper called a "contract" which are UPHELD in the courts of law. Read it, if you followed your end of the contract then you have no worries, if you did not, then you better swallow the lumps that you created for yourself. We went to both Bakeries and..... My fiance and I recently went cake tasting for our wedding cake. Our first stop was to the Cake Lady, when we were done tasting, went over to taste samples at Cakes by Nancy. We immediately went back to the Cake Lady to order our wedding cake. The Cake Lady samples we tried were wonderful and though the Cake Lady was priced somewhat higher than Cakes by Nancy we chose to go with the Cake Lady because Cakes by Nancy were lacking in flavor.
Always a treat to have a treat from the cake lady! The original cake lady has sold the business but the bakery is still a treat to your senses and taste buds! Some of us will greatly miss past traditions, but new ones can be made with this established bakery!
