Absolutely amazing people. We were 9 in total including a baby. Staff was outstanding and very helpful got us on the boats without an hassle. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend these guys amazing staff.
Amazing day on the water! We hired a BBQ boat in Cairns and had the best time! The boat was super clean, easy to drive, and perfect for a relaxing day out with family , even 2 teenager boys got excited to a good extent 🤣. The built-in BBQ worked perfectly — we cooked lunch while cruising and enjoyed the beautiful views .Staff were really friendly and gave clear instructions before we left, which made everything stress-free. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a fun, unique way to enjoy Cairns!
I’ve been wanting to do this for a few years now, and this year’s trip was the winner. We got a hire with a walk-up booking. Staff were helpful. It only takes a few minutes for them to cover instructions amd safety. These boats are loud and slow; best bet is to head up the estuary amd explore the tributary channels, getting up close to the beautiful mangroves. The fishing was fun but the BBQ didn’t work which was disappointing as we were hungry and had to throw out the meat we bought with us. I would advise booking the boat but not the BBQ and just take snacks. Then it would be a great day.
Office can be found by starting at the reef fleet terminal, walking towards the pier with the reef boats, and taking the first floating pier on the left (inside the marina). It is very close to the start of the floating pier. 2nd time. Still satisfied. No licence required. Half day centre console tinny with outboard (not pontoon), sunroof, lifejackets and sunnies.
