I have never been to this store. I have never met anybody employed by this store. A few weeks ago I sent Cahill’s a 40-year old Barbour vest that had a small tear above the left chest pocket. My expectations were modest, but sending it to the UK would have been insanely expensive and I’d not send it to the US on principle. I just received my vest back after the repair and re-waxing. I mailed my Barbour in for a fresh coat of wax - Cahill’s did a great job and shipped it back promptly. A great service and I’ll be doing it again in a few seasons.
I have just had my 40 year old Border Barbour repaired and waxed. It looks brand new so I would highly recommend Cahills and the work they do.
Cahill took my husbands ancient Barbour jacket and refurbished it. It was a fantastic job, holes patched, collar replaced, outer surface cleaned and waxed. A favourite coat has been given a new life and he is so pleased to be able to wear it again.
I had an old mink coat as an extra gift which I had restyled. It was exciting first but it took too long, I live far, unwell, and my experience was far too stressful. I found out a lot of things couldn't be done but much too late in the process. I had to compromise not very easily. It's your coat afterall and far from my first! I am saddened from the results, even with the addition of two artic fox for a collar. I should have bought another fur coat from their rack. They are gorgeous. I like their storage services.
