My favorite REAL ITALIAN Restaurant in Tucson ! A few years ago cousin Nello from Milan came to visit us in Tucson. We took him to Caffe Milano kicking and screaming there is NO REAL Italian restaurant in the USA. After dinner he went into the kitchen to hug the chef .
My family and I have been going here for over 5 yrs now. Even with the new ownership a few yrs ago, the quality of food has gotten better. The owners always come out and greet our family like we are a part of theirs.
phenomenal! Food was very good. We enjoyed our conversation with the very friendly sommelier who did not make us feel judged for our lack of wine knowledge! He also offered great information to help us choose our wine. My picky 12 year old asked why her parents don't make spagetti like they did which was remarkable. My son raved about the lasagna! My husband and I split the chicken marsala (a favorite dish of ours that we often judge restaurants by) won our approval with ease! We will return soon!
Excellent mushroom ravioli! The Pinot Noir is excellent too!
We are so happy to find this downtown gem. The Italian food is as authentic as it gets considering some spices and ingredients are not available here. The dishes are meticulously prepared with all the love and attention you'd expect. La Fufi is the culinary expert/chef and her husband, Alfredo, the Sommelier. The food-wine pairing is unparalleled.
