Coffee tasted burnt, pastries were grocery store quality

This is definitely the best coffee shop I've been to in Seattle. By far. Not only do they roast their own coffee beans, and the atmosphere is so cozy, but they're also much cheaper than even Starbucks. Their iced coffee is super good, 10/10. Would also recommend the cold brew and espresso. They also sell their own coffee beans, and they're amazing. I love everything about this coffee shop, and will definitely be coming here a lot.
I went in looking for a light roast coffee for my v60. The person behind the counter was friendly and pointed me to their Northwest Blend, which is supposed to be their light roast coffee. I highly doubt that this is a light roast, it looked and tasted much like a dark or medium to dark roast. Buying this coffee was a waste of my money. Do they not know how to make a light roast coffee?
