Root Cellar Cafe has been a favorite of mine for years, and for good reason. I’ve dined in the restaurant, relied on them to cater meals for our high school women’s tennis team season after season, and for the past several months I’ve been purchasing their prepared family dinners every other week. The food was delicious. We were a little confused about the ordering process. The line placement was unclear but the food and desserts made up for it.
You MUST go here. We ordered the gluten free crab cakes and steak and they were truly unforgettable. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The crab cakes alone deserve a moment. Perfectly cooked and served on a vibrant bed of vegetables that made the whole dish feel thoughtful and elevated. Just wow.
