I really like Cafe rio! This branch has slower service than others I’ve been to but shorter lines.
Opening week was great but every time after have had very bland meat that is unsatisfying, or my order has been messed up in some way. Service has always been great but the food(reason you actually go) has been terrible. Update: I have tried after a month or two and results were much better. Meat had much more flavor than the bland stuff I had before. Thank you for keeping the great service but improving food. Next helpful tip would to try to keep fresher tortillas in the afternoon. The food was fresh, the whole place was clean, and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Sadie took my order and she was very kind and cheerful.
Care Rio has always toasted the tortilla for salads. I noticed the Brigham City location stopped and so I have had to ask. I still love the food but the last couple of times even when I asked they wouldn’t toast it. Sad. Was it a policy change? So sad. The reason I got salads from Cafe Rio is they toasted their tortillas for salads. I guess it’s Costa Vida for me now.
