I tried the tacos at Cafe Rio, and while the beef tacos were quite good, I didn’t enjoy the chicken tacos as much. The flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The prices were reasonable, but overall, the experience wasn’t compelling enough for me to return. It’s worth a try if you’re in the area, but not my go-to spot.
This place needs a serious training is food safety. On of the employees was eating with her gloves on in the back and came back to serve me with the same gloves, she was handling food with hands that were in her mouth. Then I saw the checkout person eating at his station while he was cpu ting money. He's not handling food, but he was still eating in the kitchen which is a sever food safety violation.
I don’t take writing negative reviews lightly, but my family’s experience after eating at Cafe Rio was alarming. Within hours, my wife began vomiting uncontrollably and had severe diarrhea. Shortly after, I experienced one of the worst cases of diarrhea I’ve ever had. Our 1-year-old, who only had a small amount of the food, started throwing up repeatedly and had to be taken to urgent care after vomiting seven times in 24 hours. Cafe Rio food. I got a bomb meal
It’s a great place for a quick bite, especially during the weekday lunch break. I had a bowl of rice, grilled chicken, guacamole, etc. Loved the food.
