EDIT: 10-11-25...service has been a lot better. The reason I'm making an update is I am highly disappointed in Heber's new menu. I get a tostada every week and now this location no longer has tostadas. I have to now get it as a bowl. You don't get as much rice, beans, lettuce, etc as I got with a tostada and yet they raised the prices on this new menu. So I'm paying more for less food.. I'm highly sad about the continued items being deleted from the menu.. Video, relleno, hatch chili sauce, soup. This store 068 Heber city, Ut has just changed for the worse in my opinion in the past 5 years. The staff aren't as friendly, difficulty communicating the atmosphere is more dull then it was say 7 years ago . This will be my last visit to Cafe Rio. The drinks are amazing still.
I come for the chicken Tortilla soup and the sweet pork tostada. But I noticed they weren't on the menu. I figured they were still available so I tried ordering the soup and was told they don't serve that anymore, then I asked for the tostada and they said they don't serve that either. Completely put out and so bumbed. So I got the lite salad that must be a new menu item. Am I the only one who liked those items they're discontinuing?!?! We need to petition!!
Have been coming here for a while. Service continues to get worse and worse every visit.
Great location but very disappointed of new menu and sauce changes! New habanero sauce is disgusting!!!! And disappointing. Please bring back the old habenero sauce. It was a huge thing that I looked forward to getting every time I went to Cafe rio. Walking in today and finding out it was gone was a huge let down.
