The food at Cafe Rio is delicious. My only complaint is that they don't cook their beans long enough. They are hard and should be cooked longer.
Absolutely worst servings sizes I have ever seen, like literally the worst scoops I have ever seen, not being dramatic either, the serving of rice, black beans, and pinto was literally about half an inch all together. I got steak which was actually a good size portion, but the rest was lack luster, so I just walked out.
Portions are now really small. They used to be almost twice the size. I complained that I expected a lot more for a $13 meal. They said that was the amount they were supposed to give. It tasted good, but half the meat they used to give. Not likely to go back.
Francisco & Lupe have the best customer service! The food was freshly served and we were served pretty quick! This is the best Cafe Rio in town. It’s always very clean, the food is hot and fresh and the staff here are very welcoming & polite!!
