I ordered through Grubhub, when it was delivered the whole order was wrong. I called to let them know what happened and asked if I could get it fixed and offered to go an pick it up, and they had no problem. I went there to get a new burrito (the salad we got was wrong but hubby can eat anything lol) and they were AMAZING! So sweet! Offered me stuff while I was waiting for the new burrito. I went to order through the drive through and requested that my grilled chicken salad be made with corn tortillas because I have a celiac allergy. The staff member at the drive through told me there was no way for them to make my salad gluten free, I thought this was strange because I’ve eaten at cafe Rio lots of times at other locations and they were more than accommodating and made it gluten free no issues. Had not been to a cafe rio since they raised prices during pandemic. I was lured in by an $8 coupon mailer. (The price it used to be). I was in the drive thru (empty line) was told to wait. I waited and waited and waited and only when I started leaving the drive thru did they bother to attempt to take an order. It’s clear leaving this business in 2020 is still the right call in 2026.
