This is my go to for FRESH taco salads. This place makes the best avocado ranch dressing you'll ever eat in your life. I'm can't eat spicy foods, but this has just a touch of heat mainly for flavor. Love it & all the food is fresh & I mean crisp veggies. Can't go wrong here. I visit family in Ks. wish they had one of these near. Know my family would love it too. One of these would go over great in like Topeka or Wichita.
The taco salad is huge and comes on a fresh made flour tortilla. I need it to be gluten free so no tortilla for me but it is still delicious. Their house made lime ranch is outstanding. Also the chips and queso are delicious! Be sure to try the mint limeade as well!
I never leave reviews on stuff but my mom went in cafe Rio to get my whole family dinner. I asked for a bowl with rice, beans, pico, cheese, barbacoa meat, cilantro ranch and queso. I basically got slaw…. It was mostly liquid stuff with 0 rice🤣🤣🤣 they also weren’t the nicest people. My mom was being rushed while she was trying to read off orders, they kept telling her to “just read the text” blah blah, there wasn’t even anyone behind her. Cafe Rio is not as special as it used to be. I can't put my finger on it but it's just not as good now.
Portions are a little small but the service is great. They usually have a great drink bar but today they were out of a few things. Seems to be a great team though and you can tell they enjoy working together. Very enjoyable place to visit!
