Extremely Disappointed with Café Rio in Rexburg. I wouldn't give any stars if that was possible. I am absolutely furious with the service I received here. I ordered online and arrived on time, only to stand there watching my food sit on the prep table for over 15 minutes while multiple staff members walked around and ignored it. I have been eating at Cafe Rio since I was younger and the customer service has always been a make or break for their locations. At this location, it is a make. Joe in particular was fast, friendly and understanding. I won't be the first to say that I am not the easiest customer. However, this location truly puts the customer first and wants to do so in a timely manner. I gave 4 stars for service because the food is really expensive. But other than that I love this place!!
I ordered a sweet port burrito and it was half the size as it usually is. They didn’t add nearly as much rice and beans and when we asked a little more the worker gave me a dirty look when it was clearly a small amount. They barely gave me any of the lettuce or tomatillo when usually they put twice as much as we got this time. Disappointing.
The food was good, the staff was great, but its really loud as it is connected to other food places. Almost a small cafeteria vibe. Lots of people and lots of noise. We were happy to take our food to go.
