I always choose Cafe Rio over the national competitor when possible. While this location was clean and staff were friendly, the bowl tasted off and I couldn't tell if it was the pollan asada or the green sauce, or what.... I'll try something else next time I visit. No issues otherwise.
Came into this location twice. First time a worker was directingly touching my food without gloves and then using the same hands to work the register which isn't sanitary. Second time I saw a chunk of meat get transferred from the tomatillo mild salsa into my bowl. That salsa is supposed to be vegetarian and says so online. This was super disappointing because I used to love the vegetarian options at cafe rio but this location doesn't appear to have good food safety practices. I used to come here every Tuesday. I will no longer be spending money here. The prices are outrageous and they give you half of what they used to.
Easy Monday night dinner. Love that they offer a military discount and have a great reward program!
Bowl was over salted, lacked the freshness quality, girl getting sassy over sour cream, generally hated eating this bowl. Lacked all the spices I was hoping. Chicken lacked flavor and honestly kinda tasted like bread. Don't know what changed, but fix it.
