Food was alright but the preparation area was a big mess so it was off putting, the service was nice and they helped me out with my picky water who randomly only wanted a quesadilla with shrimp on the side! Which they accommodated and that was great! The drink area was also very dirty and messy which again was off putting. I get that they are open on a holiday (july 4th) but we could keep the prep area and drink area a little cleaner especially since we all watch them make the food….in a dirty space…..
If the owner spent half as much time addressing the issues raised in these reviews as they did responding to the reviews this place probably wouldn't be too bad. Probably won't come back.
The food was amazing as always and one of the employees (Benson I think) was wearing a taco costume and he killed it and he did such a great job! 10/10 experience and quality of food!!
This is the best Cafe Rio in Southern California. I love going there. The food is always great and customer service is exceptional. Going to visit them.
