Although this tends to be the more of a loud & busy location, it's the only location I can find that understands when I say "allergic" "gluten free" "wheat allergy ". The rest of the locations I've been to seem to be clueless. I don't understand why a food handlers card doesn't require allergy knowledge anymore. But this location is my safe space. I just wish when I ask for no rice and extra beans, they'd give me more than a tablespoon of extra beans. It's the only protein source here I'll eat.
Cafe Rio is one of my favorites for catering options. In the corporate environment with many food restrictions, this checks all the boxes and always fairs well with team members. You can't beat the price and the portions. I usually do the taco bar and add the quesadillas or enchiladas for a little more variety, however the taco bar alone is PLENTY of food. The ladies are so nice & work very quick they were very patient with us as it was our first time they need to build a location in south phx the food was so good
At this location they never missed any items or sides.
Bad attitude. Not polite, seemed like they were jiggling about something the entire time, and seemed mad not wanting to be there working.
