Wow- I haven't been to Cafe Rio in years. I went hoping for some pretty good food like I've had in years past. The food was.....fine, I guess. EVERYTHING else about the experience there was really bad. Our order said it would be ready 30 minutes ago so we rushed over to get it, just to wait in a drive thru that took 40 minutes. We got home and realized our order wasn’t complete and the tortillas were burned. Similar things have happened at this location many times. The only reason we go here instead of Costa Vida is because it’s closer, but that won’t be happening again.

Vine esta noche a retirar una orden y el chico en caja me dijo que ya estaba casi lista, demore 20min y cuando regreso a preguntar la orden no estaba preparada, la chica que me atendió la segunda vez me ofreció una bebida, muy servicial pero ya había esperado demasiado. Ella me pidió disculpas por la espera, el chico por otro lado me pareció muy mal de su parte informar de que ya iba a estar la orden cuando no la habían preparado siquiera

My sister and I have been patrons of cafe rio for well over two decades. The vineyard location is so so sus. To order you have to use a digital kiosk (whatever happened to human connection?). The atmosphere was the worst of nearly any restaurant I’ve been to. Additionally, upon placing my order I was appalled to see that there was the “momtok menu” (what is this corporate sellout? Who do you think I am?). Ok I’m done now. (said in a mid atlantic accent)
