We have eaten at this chain for decades. Ordered the time proven standard of the Tostada today to be told that it no longer exists. The menu has been updated....Gave them a try with their new "bowl". It wasn't great!! In fact compared to the legacy of at the Tostada, it was quite bad!! Not toasted through the oven. Lacking the taste and "special-ness" that made it Cafe Rio. After so many years of dedication, we will be looking to other competitors and in the valley that make similar meals to what Cafe Rio has always been. Sa... read more

I'm done with this location for sure and probably cafe rio. Terrible employees. Absolutely a waste of money. Went in at 1:30 to get lunch with my wife. She ordered a pork burrito, the attendant ran out of pork and rather than get a new one for my burrito she scraped the little bit out and called my pork burrito good. I said can I actually get some meat, she said you want extra meat? And I said no I want what I'm paying for, she proceeded to put 2 stands of meat on my burrito. Then after it was made the next lady wanted to ch... read more

The lady behind the counter was rude and refused to follow my order. She added extra charges to make my bill higher and gave me 3 small strips of uncooked steak from the grill. Absolutely disgusting food and unacceptable service. I do NOT recommend coming here for any reason.

Got two tacos, as part of the Taco Tuesday special. Picked them up 15 minutes after ordering. They were cold. Not luke-warm, but actually cold somehow. But they were also swimming in liquid, so they were very soggy. So soggy the tortilla just ripped and fell apart if you tried to pick it up. So I use a knife and fork, which then started to shred the foil wrap they came in. So I took the foil wrap off, but then it was sitting in even more of the cold meat-water. Extremely unappetizing. And, there was little meat, and there wa... read more

We have been going to Cafe Rio for over a decade and it has consistently been amazing...until now. Overnight, the menu changed dramatically. There is no longer an option for the following menu items: Tostadas, Enchiladas, Shredded Beef, Corn Tortillas or even Green Medium Sauce. This is legit insane to get rid of some of their best items with absolutely no replacement. To cap this off, they raised their prices on every other menu item to offset. Goodbye Cafe Rio, Hello Costa Vida!
